I know it has been AGES since i last updated my blog.. just as i had mentioned, i believe many people has exchanged blogs for TWITTER. (at least this is true for me..) therefore, explains my negligence of my blog.
haha..

anyway, now it's PRELIMS period and i am currently taking a break from my studying before hitting my books again tomorrow..
Yup..
as many had agreed, A levels are the worse (or one of the worst) times in life, where there is so little time and so many things to complete. haha. i felt it while trying to cover 2 years' syllabus in 1 week.
i felt funny trying to concentrate and chiong. also a little tough at first and reluctant to commit myself to study.
but i guess i was lucky that i was reminded that all the things that we do is to glorify His Name. so, even 'cannot' also has to be 'can' now!
hahaha.

not going to talk about my exams cause it's no point talking about it since it's over..
but i'm really excited about my future!

thank God for the people around me and the friends that i have.. they constantly made my day and make me look forward to my future man..

it's great having people who goes through the same season in life together with you. studying with Nadine yesterday is just quite cool cause we seem equally helpless in wanting to improve our grades and do well, yet at the same time we felt tired and napped for awhile when studying.
people who are taking their major exams and taken down from their ministries... WHOA, i'm sure we're all excited for the end of our exams where we can be released to serve God again!!!

plunging myself in the midst of books is never easy. i know that it's difficult to manage studies and other commitments at the same time while wanting to do well in every areas.
but since many people before me had done so previously and there is the promise in Phil 4:13
i know that this is the time that i needed Him the most, yeah, especially during times when i feel helpless and unable to change my situation or when i feel like i cannot study to contain anymore knowledge.
hahaha. i know that i am ranting already! LOL ..

anyway! i had a great day walking the whole of town with Vivien. we walked around aimlessly and spent our time talking while walking. Vivien's a really nice and interesting girl.. it's really nice spending time with her and finding out more things about her life.
haha.
secretly, i see parts of me when i was younger in her.
:)
if you meet her and know me for long enough, i guess you'll be able to identify the similarities. hahaha.
dinner at Newton Circus was a pleasant surprise as we both ate our dinner with much satisfaction. they have real good food there! :)

just ended prayer conference with Huishan, Beryl and Mabel for D1!
we just encouraged each other and prayed for the people. how cool to have teammates who will go through the same kind of things and sometimes though not everyone will understand exactly what it feels like, at least being able to pray together gives us some stregth!

been a super long time since i last updated..

anyway! life has been exciting and everything is really moving fast and faster!
Festival of Praise is going on right now.. tonight is the last night!
if you haven't been to one, hurry hurry go down to Singapore Indoor Stadium tonight.. :)

Pastor How preached a really powerful sermon at combined service last night. atmosphere was really great with Pastor Lia worship leading and our very own choir singing! :)
it is so amazing how our church works and how things that are 'exclusively Heart of God church'.. just love those things that are unique to us in our culture, our DNA, our heart and our character..

Festival of Praise on Friday was just as cool. Opening video done by our own Post-Pro team; special stop motion video proclaiming to the whole nation a message of 'Let no one despise your youth' done by our super professional, under 22yrs old team of youths; Pastor How and Pastor Lia sharing on stage.. Just so amazing! And also, the coolest experience of being an usher in Spore Indoor Stadium.. COOLIOS!

Alrights.. This is the season to GROW BIGGER and also balance both church and school..
Way to go!!

this morning, i woke up with a determination that i must seek God first before i start hitting my books.
everything was good, but the greatest part was reading Pastor How's tweet that BOTH Pastor Kong and DR A R Bernard will be coming to our church on FRI and SUN! :)
This was duper cool and powerful.
2 of the most influential and anointed speaker will be in church this weekend!
we're all getting excited and in for a really good treat!

and as i was reading twitter.. i went onto Youtube and searched for this powerful song: The God I Know..
as i listened to it, i can't help but just tear.. just by listening and watching the video and letting the lyrics run..
indeed, we really want to be the church that He knows...
such a powerful song came from a powerful church led by a great man. and better still, Pastor Kong is going to be here in Heart of God Church this weekend..

His dad came and rocked the place! I'm sure he will too!!! :)

3. Dr A R Bernard's coming next week!
We'll make sure we all turn up for all the services no matter what man..
And of course, I remembered how his message and ministry blessed me during Asia Conference last year. Real good.. :)

4. CT2 is starting soon, but i tried to push it to the back of my mind.. :)

few things that inspired me..

read Pastor Kong's blog post of Do We Need The Ten Commandments?
and the last part really just summarises everything..

and reading this Facebook note by KS made me feel that i am super duper lucky to be able to be in the worship team and in Heart of God Church.
being in worship team really gave me a whole new understanding of worship and how the Spirit of God moves.
:)

Discipleship class with Garrett on Sat was also another powerful experience with God, where we all entered into our own secret place and met God face to face right there and then.
we could talk to God just like a friend, leaving all our ministries and problems behind, just enjoying and loving God, and God alone..
:)
there i saw and heard things that i would never had if i hadn't entered into the secret place.
:)

and recently, God put a powerful phrase into my heart.. i was shocked, yet it touched me deeply.
God says:
The scariest thing is not when I do not know, but it's when we know and didn't dare to believe it..
He's referring to my future, i know.. :)

He knows what I am thinking about even when I thought they weren't important thoughts.

and lastly, today, the lyrics of this song finally meant something to me.
it was 135 play count on my iTunes but yet i do not have a real understanding of what it's singing about.

a beautiful sunday that has no church service really made me feel weird.
hahaha.

nevertheless, i had a fruitful and enjoyable week!!
in fact, it was filled with many encounters with God and tapping into the spiritual realm.

i am happy and proud to say that i attended 1 service every day for the whole of last week.
and i felt really amazed by the way God uses people, the way God speaks to us, and of course, how everyone of us is being included in the whole big picture of His creation and His Kingdom..

looking back on the days of the week, i felt really blessed by the word that was delivered over the pulpit.. they inspired me, ministered to me, challenged me and also brought me to dream with God how amazing all our future can be..

it's really amazing how our whole church is moving up to a whole new level altogether. and knowing that everything that we do here is related to whatever that's on Pastors' hearts even though they are not around really made me smile at the end of the day..

Pastor Troy preached a powerful message yesterday that was so inline with the season of our church and caused many of us to carry the burden of our church with us.. Mae Ann preached a powerful offering message in Zone F svc ytd, telling us that everything of the church 'depends on us'.. IT ALL DEPENDS ON US.. not our Pastors, our leaders.. but US.. whether the church grow, whether the church will break through, whether we will have enough finances to sustain our church rental... and Ivan preached a mind-blowing sermon for zone F svc as well.. one that was revolutionary and mind changing. zone F is indeed the Peter generation, the now generation.. everything was so powerful and i am really excited for our church to go to a whole new level when Pastors are back!! :) :) :)

DEO camp ended and i'd say that ALL of us had a great time.. :) despite the lack of sleep, everyone of us enjoyed ourselves, making many new friends and having fun with them..
not forget to mention about the amazing food that we had, Buffet and Steamboat.. whoa.. :P
and of course, our powerful services with Dominic and Pastor Troy.. :)

those who have missed out on it, i bet you are feeling quite sad now....

Pastor Troy and Pastor Vince really blew me off many times.. not just about the message of God that they had for us, but also about their character..
they are such real people with great character and love for people..
:)
they shared that they really believed in what Pastors are doing in our church, what our Pastors believed in and more than that, Pastor Troy is willing to sow into our church in practical means of sowing into our building fund!!
i bet that really blew many people off.. :)

yeah yeah..
everything was just so amazing..
and being able to sing on Elevate was really amazing too.
:)
seeing God move in the lives of the people, seeing people getting touched by the presence of God and more than that, i was also ministered by God myself..
real cool man ...
hahaha..

time to really enlarge and grow man!
:)

i know that God is moving in all our lives right now.
and i am currently reading the book of Samuel.. really inspiring and that the thing that matters most to God is really the small intangible things.. :)

gratitude.
love for God.
loyalty.

i think these are the words that i could think of now as i just read some things online.
many people seems to jump into conclusions and are quicker to speak than to listen...

Time to seek God and read His word! :)

i guess i have many thoughts today and i will just try my very best to put them down in words.. hopefully i am as clear to communicate as i can be.. :)

today's great and i just had a powerful session of Follow up Training with Pastor Lia in church..
seeing how Pastor Lia pushed through the almost 4 hrs session of training was really a first hand revelation of how Pastor Lia is really committed in the things that she do..
and this reminds me of what Dominic preached in the zone F service weeks ago about commitment.
Dominic shared a story about Pastor Lia having an undying commitment.. there was one night when Pastor Lia had a sermon to prepare and also a youth to minister to and Pastor Lia chose to minister to the youth.. Dominic quoted Pastor Lia where she said something like, ' I would have missed the point if I lose one teen just to prepare a sermon to preach to a hundred.'
it's something about: What's the point of preparing a great sermon but losing a youth...
some things just cannot be explained.. it's something when you get to see or experience it for yourself, then you will truly understand what it means..

anyway, the training was really refreshing for me and i felt as though i had gone through the follow up lessons myself.. :)
the presence of God was strong and God really spoke to me during the worship at the end..
how great to be a Christian, how great to be in Heart of God Church..

as i was waiting for my bus at the bus stop just now, i stared into the sky and thought.. (because the bus took super long to come!!)
and i felt this sense of how we are so small in the world and like what Pastor How preached last week, how the world is so big and therefore we feel so insignificant..
almost immediately, i felt the presence of God surrounding me and i know that i wasn't insignificant in God's eyes.. at that point of time, i was reminded of exactly how i would have been like if Jesus haven't come into my life.. what a meaningless, purposeless and empty life i would have led..
haha!
nevertheless, it's these times when i felt really thankful for what God had done for me in my life. :)

just went to read Maryse's blog about realism and idealism..
and i thought that was so true for a lot of us right now who are really growing up and going into the next phase of life, where we can no longer afford to play with our lives anymore..
i'm glad that my future is in God's hands and i'm also glad that there are people in my lives that i can look up to, where they are willing to live and die for their dreams, where they are willing to lay down everything for their dream for God, where they have taught me a lesson with real life examples. :)

a last thought that i had..
it's hard to explain the joy that is inside of me when i see those friends whom i shared all the nonsensical moments with still running this race together after going through some rough patch in their lives..
i guess everyone will just have their own test from God to pass it with God..

and then it brought me to think about those who gave up on this road as i was reading Maryse's blog. those who once said they wanted to be a servant in God's house, those who wanted to impact people's lives, those who said they want to bring a revival to their schools and their families..
these people who gave up on their dreams..
i wonder what would they feel at the end of the day where the things that they now have faith in, suddenly collapse on them.. when all the glam and fame died off..
i'm sure they'll want to exchange everything for the dream they once had.

dreams are powerful..
but our decisions are even more powerful..
:)

cling onto your dream tightly no matter what, what you sow, you shall reap in due time.
:)

can't wait to receive from God in 16 hrs time.

i guess we are really impacted and ready to go out and reach out to the people!
the sermon's about standing between the living and the dead, and together with many real life stories, Pastor Bill Wilson showed us how life and death is really real in this world and how 1 person can really make a difference..
a super inspiring message :)

then we had Leaders meeting with Pastors.
our church is really such a wonderful church.. :)
great Pastors and leaders. can't wait to breakthrough and fly!
more leaders are going to catch the heart and rise up!

feels super excited about it.

today's quite a fun day!
had the sudden urge to watch movie today but we (Sam Teo and I) kinda ended up walking around Plaza Sing..
and not to forget about us walking into this Catholic Church on our way to PS from Clark Quay.. hmmm, the atmosphere there was kinda weird and a bit fearful..

something that made me relieve was seeing my Literature grades in school improved a little.. I guess this is where i should be going towards all the way till A Levels.

did i tell you that A levels is a really big mountain for me?
hahaha.

so so so glad that Celestine is recovering from her fever right now already! :)
went down to her house today and we took quite a bit of time trying to locate her house. hahaha. never ever been to that part of Singapore!
anyway, Celestine looks sweet in her house clothes, which was like her pajamas.. haha!
had a great time today!

and we dropped by at Joy Wee's family dinner for her BIRTHDAY!

Red Rain concert today was really awesome! :D
atmosphere was high, everyone drenched in sweat, songs were nice, people were great..
all in all, an awesome concert.. !
YEAH..

and i've just checked out the voices of Adam Lambert and Kris Allen on their finals song, No Boundaries.
decided that i liked Kris Allen's voice.. :) listening to Adam Lambert makes me feel breathless, even though he can reach the higher notes better.
Kris' voice's soothing and lovely!
alright, checked it out cause everyone talking about it.
and today Maryse just came and kept repeating Adam Lambert's name so many times. haha!

had a great late night supper with Garrett, Jamie and Felicia just now.
and that made my night complete.

this weekend was really a great weekend with powerful Mothers' Day services..
:)

have been thinking about things that i realised about life through the things that are around me..
i think that oftenly, it's the intangibles that speaks louder than the tangibles.
and it's the smallest actions or thoughts that counts..
:)

i could still rmb clearly the smile that i saw on my Father's face this morning when he asked me if i wanted Mee Rebus or Mee Siam for breakfast.. :)
although he is someone who is not good at expressing anything in words, i could really feel that it is a heartwarming smile.
and recently i got to find out about my dad's monthly basic pay and i realised that as compared to my allowance and at times when i needed more money, my dad is really generous with me.. yeah man. hahaha.
paying tribute to my dad.
and this really made me even want to reach out to him and get him save soon!!! :D

a smile or just a heartfelt greeting, it can all be felt not through the amount of words, but felt through our hearts and our spirit.. sometimes, it might even just be a look of concern..

i guess to us ladies, these were rather important, those little things. :)
yeah..

this weekend's service is definitely more than heartwarming, refreshing but also mind blowing.
i guess this is the best mothers' day service i have ever attended. how we had so many moms coming and attending, many stories of open-hearted parents being alright with our church.. everything was just so zai and i can't help but say that i am so so so proud of our church!!!
:D

although mothers' day wasn't very big a day for me, i remembered my grandma who's staying with me, how she took care of me and kinda played the role of my mom in my life. :)
really grateful to everything that she's done for me..
and i also believe that mummy is currently in heaven.. :)

through the service, i can't help but had this overwhelming emotions when i saw how mothers sacrifice their time, their youth and their dream for their children.. how they looked differently from when they were young, the added grey hair, new tiny lines around their eyes, a face that's growing older.. but a heart that never fails to love..
it really dawned upon me of how great the love of a mother can be.. and how mothers will always be protective of their children no matter what..

i'm really glad that i will be given this chance in future, to be able to be a mother for my children and really love them with the undying love of God..

goodnight and a filled spirit with a greater revelation of love.
:)

love is a decision.

love is selfless.
love requires us to take out something from the inside of us.

a short post before I sleep! :)

life is great for me and i have been feeling rather slack! Hahaha..
please don't pick up any of these from me..
for the past week, i am only present in school for 1 day. record breaking for myself.
but that's because on Wed, i went and VJ had a HALF DAY OFF at 9.40am! and on Fri (today), it's a public holiday..
flu caught up with me on Monday and it worsen on Tues..
i really do not wish to have anything to do with Swines! (no idea if there's such a word.. hahaha!)

anyway, these few days have really been spending quite a lot of time with my grandma and she kept me company in those mornings when i woke up and decided not to go to school.. she accompanied me to the polyclinic and waited for my turn for me.. so sweet right? :)
today, i went with her to my cousin's stall at Geylang and the fellowship was indeed good..
i love my family! :D

just now was spending time with Priska in town.. we shopped and i think my age is really catching up on me cause i am really feeling the ache under my soles..
hahaha. i sound super old man..

nonetheless, everything was fun and great! and we both went home with a pair of shoes! :D

24 last night was awesome and powerful! :)

hello everyone!

im doing a fast post now cause i was so tempted to blog about this real cool thing..
i just came home and Shina told me about this show she's watching.
it's Biblical Mysteries Explained on the Discovery Channel...

what they did was to try to prove the real happening of the destroy of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis 19.
they did researches about the stars etc and realised that there was a asteroid that clashed into the Earth and explodes just before it hit Earth, where the pieces of explosion reaches at exactly the spot where Sodom and Gomorrah was..
the searched with ancient astronomy, the old artifacts and even modern science in trying to find out the temperature of atmosphere thousands of years ago through the air spaces in the ancient ice that is found in the seas right now..

they then concluded that this event occurred in 3123 BC..

this is real cool man... :)

nonetheless, people who wanted to find proof that God does exist, here it is..
but i guess at the end of the day, this does not cause much an impact on our relationship with God.. this doesn't result in lives being changed..

someone from the show said that the truth of the Bible is more important than proving its historical value, whether it did happened or not..
yeah, i agree with that..
no point proving the truth of these real historical events if they do not bring your relationship with God closer..

but this is still a cool discovery.. :)

i just home from a great day out.. :)

let's talk about today..
woke up super late and had brunch then went down to church to prep for HQ and then HQ..
everything was really cool and learning to know more things about people was really cool too..
:)
above all, we all worked as a TEAM.. love it!

after HQ, decided to go to town and spend some time with Xin Jie..
hahaha. weird? but it's definitely a cool hangout with her..
we chatted and had fun finding out about each others' life..
then met up with some of the B zone people at The Cathay while they're eating their Shi Lin food before going to meet Sam Teo to study..
:)
studying with Sam Teo, rather productive.. not too bad..
then we went hunting for food at 10.30pm and apparently not a lot of stalls are open..
so we settled for Macs ice cream before Sam went off and i went to look for Xin Jie and Chew..
went home after hanging out a while more..

had a rather simple day. but totally enjoyed myself spending time with my leaders, fellow D1 friends and my friends!!

i love my life!!

recently, i just had the thought.. that i really love my God..
sometimes God puts us through things such as testings or through the fire.. and this happened even without us knowing it..
only after it is over, when we turn behind and look at what is left behind us, it's all those old habits, bad character, old mindsets and our old skin that's being shed through these testings and trials...

it has been real cool cause recently i was reading The Bait of Satan, (yes, picking it up after stop reading it for a moment..) and i could exactly identify with what the book is trying to say..
stories of people that i heard also kind of reminded myself of the things that i used to do in the past.
now as i look at my life, it is truly contended but not satisfied..
i thank the people who has kept me here and kept believing in me when even i have lost sight of what my future could be..
thank God for always being faithful to me.. :)
i could clearly remember once when Pastor Lia prayed for me and she spoke clearly and told me that God is faithful..
yes. He really is..
:)

this is my life and i really love it.
though not the most glamourous or the most exciting and rich, i still love it.

the weekdays has ended again and weekends are coming!! :)

in the past, i used to look forward to the weekends and hoped that the weekdays will past as quickly as possible!
hahaha!
but now, i still look forward to the weekends as much, but i am looking forward to the weekdays as well! :)

so many amazing things has been happening around me and i was simply amazed and blown away by how God moves in the midst of us!
stories after stories were being shared; breakthroughs, people making sacrifices, people getting saved, people becoming radical and prayers being answered! :)
everything is moving at such a fast pace right now and every single day is just another miracle day!
and because of all these, there is such an atmosphere of FAITH!
:D

so now when there's things that happen and i do not know what to do, i do know that my answer is definitely to pray for it, pray about it and pray AT it.. :)

CHC morning prayer meetings for the past few days really helped me start my day right!
it's just like having God's assurance that the day is going to be great..
hahaha!

Tues' leaders meeting with Pastors are a revolutionary one.. where there are changes Pastors made to the pastoral side of our church!
Pastors are really cool! and with all these changes, i can really see growth coming our way!!!

lastly, EASTER IS COMING....
:)
more than just that Good Friday Holiday, i believe that Easter is such a great occasion for all of us!!
this Easter is going to be filled with excitement, fun, joy and love!

i've decided to blog cause i came across something that i find it really funny!
yeah. so that is going to be the first thing that i talk about!

i was looking for a notebook just now and i came across this half filled notebook and as i flipped it, i saw this page that i wrote a diary entry in..
so i took the book out and started reading it as i eat my dinner..
walamak, i almost was wondering who exactly is the person who wrote that!
it was an emo entry with all the blah blah blah about love! HAHA..
i can't believe it man.. and when i saw it, there were questions that i can answer right now..
questions like 'why did you break your promise' and 'why did you choose to leave...'
reading them now makes me wanna laugh at myself, but i think i still has some memories of how i was when i wrote this entry!
now it feels like i am some 3rd person looking at someone else's life!

but i just want to say that i am really glad that i cling onto God.. or even turned to God..
honestly speaking, i really love my life now and now i have the answers to why things turned out the way it is last time.
God has a better plan for me than to stay emo, stuck in those nonsense world and drown with those nonsense thoughts!
HAHA.
now they all seemed super funny to me..

nonetheless, it is always cool to dig out some past and see how much we have grown in God.. how far we have came.. then thank God for all that He has given to us.
and i know that i am NOTHING without Him..

anyway, C3 Band came to church just now and we had a session with them!
just listening to them share about songwriting from revelations, learning from how they played music, flowing and everything.. it is just amazing..
i guess you will never understand what i'm trying to say unless you're there!
yeah man..
how anointed the whole band is.. how zai every single one of them is..
and also, how real, genuine and friendly they all are! :)
and we get to see them, hear from them, learn from them up close!
WOHHH.
really cool man..
hahaha.

yeah yeah.. my life is exciting!!
except the cough part that distracts me from doing almost everything.
that is irritating.. but i prayed for it alr and hope it will go away before CG later!

it's time to GROW now..

D Odds Chalet just ended and I really enjoyed myself there!! :D
i liked everything there.. the games, the fellowship, the super nice food, the super anointed worship with Dominic, the crazy and funny walk at night..
above all, the touch of God in my life yesterday night.. :)
yesterday i experienced something different spiritually when i prayed, and really prayed my heart out.. it's really undeniable that God is faithful and true in all our lives..

i had a great week, great holiday! :)
today was super tiring but yet fruitful as well!

i drank a LARGE coke from Macs and this is probably the only time that i drank so much coke! yikes.. i feel like i am growing sideways soon!
but glad that it kept me awake with the boost of caffeine.
yeah!

had Elevate prac just now and it was really powerful.
the worship was really ministering and it's always so good to be in the presence of God, forgetting everything around you and only focus on God and God alone.. :)
everything is going to be good man!!
can't wait for Elevate to play next Sat! YEAH!

there's service with Pastor Sy Rogers tomorrow!
another exciting day ahead and i'm sure that the day is filled with much surprises that i did not expect! :)

i'm inspired to post cause i saw Pastor Kong blogging..
HAHA!

what lousy reason, i know.. :)

today's Monday and it's the start of March Holidays..
honestly speaking, i think staying at home, having nothing to do is super duper boring!
i guess i can't take this kind of life man..
my legs are itching to move out of my house door alr!!
hahaha..

anyway, hasn't been to school for last Thur and Fri and it was really GREAT..
okay, not a very good example..
haha!

i had a failed attempt to try to jog on Thurs morning..
instead, i went for movie with Valerie Cheong.
we watched Departures and it's really a nice movie.
:)
but catch it when you think you have the mood for slow movie!
HAHA.

had heart to heart session with Jamie after that..
and now is the season for FAITH and HARDWORK..
:)

And on Friday!! I ran and fulfilled my jogging in the morning thing..
HAHA!
we went to Ngee Ann Poly and ran with Jamie..
finally, D1 SC is coming to pass.. just like what Jamie said! :)
there was really quite a number of us who went down to jog and i really feel super healthy after that!
and after a shower in church, it is really THE BEST man!!

feel so good to run in the morning and not waste it in bed!
Haha..

after that, Hui Shan joined us and we went to Bugis to eat, walk and spent 2hrs there..

had CG in the evening that day and it was really great too..
the sermon was powerful..
and the presence of God was strong..

and Pastor How preached a really powerful sermon on Sat about Offence.
it was a time for self reflection and having more insights over your own life..

I realised that it had been many many manyyy days since i last updated my blog!!
hahaha!

Anyway, i just ended my CT and i am really glad that it ended on a Wed night..
So i have tomorrow free and Friday, i declared holiday for myself since it's just some Victoria Olympic Games..
Hahaha!

a few interesting things that i need to sayyyy!
:P

ytd i found Pastor Kong on Twitter and realised that he really really updates it and so i clicked to follow him..
just now at 7plus, i received an email telling me what Pastor Kong is following me on Twitter too! Woohh, this is so cool man! :)

and nowadays, everyone seemed to be hooked onto the internet, on Facebook Rock Legend, on Twitter.. it's really cool and fun!
so i guessed i've join in the fun too...! :P
YUP!

life has been really good and cool for the past few weeks!
here are some significant events that happened!

1. IC Graduation - yesterday
it was really cool and i could say that i was totally blown away by the whole thing because it was all run by people who had never run those things before man!! :)
yeah..
and as always, i am amazed at what Yassy shared with us last night from Exodus..
how God had called us by name, filled us with His Spirit and the skills, to do and teach people, and then the glory of God will fall in His house..
it was really powerful and i could really see a whole army of Ops IC being released into the ground to do the work, and train people up!
grow grow grow!!!

2. D Odds Meeting - 3 Mar
if not for the D Odds meeting, i guess there's still so many people in D Odds that i don't know of! oh man, i know this is very bad.. so it's time to know more more more people as the whole zone grows! :)
we had a great worship with Lynette and it was just so cool to be in the presence of God, being ministered by His presence..
i also saw the faces of the people whom i saw a few years back in FTMS during a similar D zone meeting.. :)
really enjoy the fellowship of the d-odds!!

3. AI Conference - 26-28Feb
Wooohhhh... AI conference was really COOL and if you weren't there, i think you really missed IT man..
i really seriously think that our church has the standard to really run conferences already man!!
it was really enjoyable seeing people being interviewed by Pastors..
really inspiring hearing the sermons and the word from God..
really touching watching those videos of the work we do in other countries..
really in awe of the work that we are doing right here in our YSC..
and really amazed at how God uses us, uses our finances to bring hope and love to people who needs it the most..
:)

looking at all these, i am truly fortunate man! :D

yeah man!
and i really understood and know that God is the one who has given me all that I have right now..
and without Him, i am really NOTHING.
:)

oh, and i missed Pastors man!! :/
so weird not to see and hear Pastors in the office..

i had a great weekend and i could feel that my life is full and purposeful..
:)

sat we had Elevate on zone F service and Pastor Lia preached.
even though the message was meant for zone F, i felt God speaking to me right from the message and changed my mentality on certain things!
woah!
:)

Elevate was really cool and each time we had an outing, it always feels different..
always new and fresh, with new challenges ahead of us!
:)
and during altar call, i could just feel the honour and the privilege to be there, pulling down the presence of God for people and also such a privilege to be able to bv for Pastor Lia..
yeah..
and seeing God move in the people's hearts and in mine as well really amazes me.
how the Holy Spirit will prompt me and show me things from where i am standing where the congregation couldn't see.
i saw leaders rising up in the midst of them, musicians, church builders, sons and servants in the house of God in the congregation..
it was really cool, like a sight seeing in the spirit with God.
:)
hahaha!

and during the main service, Pastor How shared a powerful sermon and i could totally understand what he meant and what was God telling me through the sermon.
:)
real cool to have insights over your own life!
and Pastor talked about brokenness, which i felt was something that we all need in our lives towards God..

yup! and so my day was good and my life was fulfilled!

today was cool too! had hospitality, then service..
service was about the same thing, but Pastor made it more applicable to us, youths!
how cool our Pastor can be and how privilege we are man.... :)
more than the word, the presence of God during worship was strong and God has never failed to visit us everytime we worship..

just now was going home with Jamie and Felicia and we were just talking about how fortunate we are to be in Heart of God church..
i thought about it and i realised that it is all so true..
here, everything is authentic, real, genuine..
there's so much love, fun, fellowship and friendship..
and above all, we have a real thick presence of God, a real good and hardworking worship teams who truly pull down the presence of God and very cool Pastors and leaders who are committed to what they are doing in church.

I had a great day in church today.. :)
had CG, then hang out with Jamie and Huishan and Felicia in church. it was really great fellowship..

and i think we are really big eaters.. yeah, seriously. everyone left the place feeling really well-fed and we even got to eat Hamachi Sashimi cause they could not give us the amount of Salmon Sashimi we wanted.. LOL.
and we had great fellowship trying to sabo one another to eat the food that we had on the table by stealing their chopsticks and touching the untouched food with their chopsticks! :)
and Felicia seemed to be the victim of this sabotage...
this was cool, and also greatly fattening man.

i had a fruitful and fun time today, spending time with people who are younger than me, playing with them, talking to them..
:)
it's really cool to meet people who are younger, though sometimes you really feel like your physical body is not supportive of you doing so..
haha.. i feel old today..!
nevermind, but we really did had a great fun thrilling time at Heartfest 2009 today!

i spent my Feb 14 with my spiritual family, with my friends..
:D

and i didn't really think of today as a different day until just now..
when we were on our way home, there's people holding flowers, gifts and balloons etc.
ahahaha.
and now on my tv, it's MTV channel, playing all the chinese love songs..
haha!!

i could still remember how i will feel during this day years ago..
to think about it, it's really rather funny now..
all those things that used to matter, they do not matter anymore..

yeah, really..
and i believe many others can agree with me.

things and people really do change.
sometimes it's for the good of it..
and i hope that everytime it'll reap good results..

hello everyone.. :)
i am guilty right now.. i'm blogging at the timing when i'm suppose to be doing something else..

let's not talk about it.

anyway, it's Thurs now and Pastor Joakim's coming today and there's service with him tmr! :D
that's really exciting and cool..
hahaha.

this whole week has really been amazing.. :)
CHC powerhouse every morning and i would say that my day in school became much much much better because of the morning prayer!
starting your day with a powerful prayer filled with God's presence will really make your day more exciting and you'll get the assurance that your day will go well.
oh man.. it's really your own lost if you missed it out!

weekend services with Pastor Ming and Charleston is really powerful and cool.
:)
Pastor Ming was really cool and funny that we never failed to enjoy ourselves during service. But more than all these, he's really anointed and the presence of God was just so strong during the altar call part.
Woahhh. :)

Charleston's preaching was really great too! about us not being a convenient christian in this 21st century where everything comes in convenient and instant.
:)
sounds easy but sometimes it's really difficult.
it would mean to walk an extra mile, to do something out of your own convenience, to be others-centric...
just so much for us to reflect upon..
yeah man..

life has been really great!
day by day, you can just feel the whole spiritual level of the church moving up into a whole new level..
starting from zone meeting, to cg, to weekend services, then power house prayer, then tomorrow there's service with Pastor Joakim..
Woah.
can't wait for more growth and breakthrough! :D

sometimes when our visions became blurred and our dreams and hope just seems so far away, this is the time when we needed faith in God even more. :)
this is when your trust in God is being built.
and when you get your vision clearer, you'll see that you've grown in your faith and trust in Him..

God works in amazing ways in our lives..
from our salvation, to our daily walk with Him, and even our future or the things that we hold dearest to ourselves..
He has everything in His control.. :)

and an amazing salvation story of my school's head of PE dept once again showed me that God is in the midst of all of us..

ask me and i'll tell you about it!!
but i guess most of the people around me has heard that cause Nadine and I have been talking about it.. :D

and i can really say that the teacher of mine really made my day!
anw, he's from CHC and he's superrr duper nice to send Nadine and I to school after powerhouse!

it's thursday night, friday morning and i am contemplating whether i should go to school tmr..
hahaha.
cause school was really quite redundant tmr.. we're just gonna go to the beach and have a class gathering.
the thought of my traveling time and waking up early really made me think twice..
hahaha! those were just my ranting of nonsense..

anyway, today was a really great day.. :)
nevermind about the school, cause it's the same everyday!
there's zone D meeting today and it was a really great time spent in the presence of God!
woahhh..
something not felt for a long time amongst a small group of people.
and of course, God spoke and He moved in our midst.. :)
and worshiping God together as a zone with our very own people on the keyboard, guitar and worship leading is a really exciting experience..
exciting would be the word for me..
when there's a whole new batch of people doing the things, everything has a sense of freshness and newness..
yeahh yeah.. i guess i'm getting out of point here.

today is an exciting day !!
:)

firstly, i had a great sleep and woke up at like 10.30am..
hahaha.
and spent some time eating etc etc..
then, i packed my study table and my living room!
:)
this is quite remarkable as now it really looks quite clean and tidy and all ready for CNY!

stayed home today and took a nap in the late afternoon..

another cool thing that happened today is my shopping outing with my brother! :)
this is the first time in my 17 years of life that i went out with my brother.
hahahaha.
so everything was really cool!
we went to city hall, then walked to bugis..
at the end of the day, i feel satisfied.
not really about my buyings for the day, but more for the fellowship and the time spent.

really looking forward to more of these outings!

a new beginning and it's A Level year, 18 years old here i come!

yesterday was a fantastic day and it is really a day that God has made!
AMEN.

i gotta tell you all about my TUESDAY ..
:)

went down to Jurong East to meet Samantha Teo with Pollyna and Felicia..
we spent quite a lot of time in the library there while waiting for Beryl and Linus and we had great fellowship.
:)
Felicia had to leave before Beryl and Linus reach..
then we all left from there to attend this wake at Jurong East.

not much details about the wake but the person that we visited was really strong.
chatted for a while, connected with her..
and then we prayed for her.
the presence of God was there and she was really touched.
:)
it was truly a heart wrenching sight and the atmosphere carried the joy of the Lord and His warmth.
it was truly a fruitful visit..

then we went to Jurong Point to walk and hang out.. etc etc etc.
at night, met Felicia and Noel and headed down to Wendy's place.
the amazing thing comes after that..
we cabbed home from there after supper near Joanne's house.

i left the cab and realised that my phone was missing, not in my bag nor in my pockets...
so i ran home and started calling my phone from 2.20am to about 4am.
prayed to God about it...
but just like every other human, i was so prepared for the loss of my phone that i went to check on the lost and found of comfort cabs, how to go about doing it and how to go about reporting loss for my phone to Singtel..
this is so not an act of faith.
so i called and i called.
thinking that it was left at the back seat of the cab, praying that the cab uncle would see it/hear the vibration/see the light etc..
then when i was about to go to bed, someone kinda picked up the phone and put it down.
after that i called again and it got cut off halfway.
after a few more calls, the phone went off.

this time i really panicked.
:/
all along there was this peace that guarded my heart which i don't know why, but was quite calm and cool about it.. haha.
after that, i was really praying real hard and all prepared to go to bed and wake up at 8am to call the comfort cab company.
THEN, my house phone rang!

someone picked up my phone and called to check if i am the owner of the phone.
when i went to collect my phone after that, the actual story went this way...
that guy who picked up my phone went out of his house to smoke and saw something blinking at the roadside that looks like a phone.
so he went downstairs to get it and when he got it, the phone batt actually went off.
then he brought the phone back home to charge it, switch it on and called me back.

amazingly, i called the phone until the battery died!
and even more amazingly, i actually dropped it when i alighted the cab and the phone was by the carpark that i dropped off.
God can indeed do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think..
i didn't know that this whole thing can have such an outcome !
and even better still, i know that guy who picked up my phone and he was honest enough to return it back to me.

THANK GOD!

and i have learnt to trust in Him more that He is able to do more than what we can think of, for every circumstances that we are in and also for our future..

CHRISTMAS IS ALREADY OVER!!
and 2009 is really coming in less than 50 hours' time..

there's a sense of excitement in my spirit but yet, i don't really want to go back to school..
haha.
i guess this is what every student is feeling right now..

anyway, today was rather cool!
had New Gen meeting with Jie Hui in the afternoon and after it all, i really think that VJ is actually such a good ground man!!
and Jie Hui is really cool too..
hahaha.
great ideas and i believe that next year VJ is going to be more happening and we will be the next MJ..

after that had follow up with Eunice Tay and hung out with her till late late late..

when we walked in town today, she was super funny and she said that it has been very long since she shopped in Singapore..
it made her sound like she was away for a year when she was only away for like one month.

great to have her around and back!! :D

service over the past 2 days was really really really cool.

really could feel a breakthrough for our whole entire church and it is really really powerful!
for those of you who have missed it, it is really sad for you! :/
Pastor really left the best for the last service of the year and i'm sure everyone in the services were touched by what God has done.

and of course, after breakthroughs, the devil will want to attack.
and spiritual attacks are really quite expected.
it's so clear that because we had breakthroughs, people are being attacked in their health etc..
the devil is really quite lousy.
cause we have won..

plus the opening of our Yishun Satelite Church on Sunday!
at first we only had 2 services, but because there's too many people, we increased it to 3 services!
how cool can our church get man!! :)

i'm really thankful that i am in the church that God has brought me into..
and this Christmas, i am in Heart of God church for 3 years already.. :)

yesterday we had elevate's prac also!
and we prac all the way till about 2am. real cool.
although many of us are tired, we really had fun and bonded and i really loved the friends and the family feeling we have in there.
:) :) :)
and late night means Koon Yew has more tricks to scare people as he always does..
HAHA.

tomorrow is going to be even better!

it is 13 and a half hours more to our Christmas eve's service! :)

how fast time indeed passes us by and now we've come to the end of the year!
we've all worked and prayed for this last moment of breakthrough.. and now it is here.
i kinda got the feeling of, it's either now or never!
haha..
Christmas services this year is going to be fun, cool and exciting!
i believe many lives will be changed and planted!

as i was writing those Christmas cards for these few days, i really saw the number of lives God really touched and changed.
including mine..

the meeting with Jamie on Monday night was cool.
now everything is more effective and everything is running!

today is saturday night and we just ended our combined service..

it was really awesome. especially the sermon that Pastor preached.

it totally blew me away.

this is quite irritating. absolutely.

but probably this is just life and the things we all need to get through.

today is TUESDAY and it has been a great day!!

today, i had work as usual.

went to church for orchestra after that. it's really amazing seeing how much we really have grown!
then went to meet Beryl to go to Hazel's house!

gave her a brownie and she gave us a chocolate from Aussie in return!

saw Jun xiang there as well.
chatted with her.. and i could just feel that she needs some encouragement and faith. something that only the power and presence of God can do..
sometimes we are just quite helpless, but we can only pray.
prayed for her before we left and she say that she felt more comfortable.

hope that one day she can really step into church to feel the strong tangible presence of God that we all feel it every single weekend.

it has been 10 days since i posted. and i told myself, i gotta put some pictures in this one..
okay, i shall try towards the end of this post. HAHA.

anyway, life has been great and it can never be greater.
:)
we had powerful session such as..
today's service! 41st Day was on and the worship was super anointed. powerful..
and it was flashback 80s and 90s.
now we are no longer the youngest generation. i feel old.. haha.
but no worries. i can't wait to grow up and when we all reach the age of 20plus, the church is going to explode!!

yesterday night we had a revival meeting with Pastor Lia and many schools in revival went to share their stories.
one common trait in all of them, they all had close friendships, they all bonded, they all joked and had fun, and they all are also spiritual at the same time.
it is really cool to have a bunch of best friends in school and that same group of friends in church as well! :)
OH WELL, YOU ALL SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE MAN!
hahaha.
words just can't describe everything.
the power of God was moving and everything was just so WOAH. i believe those people who have not attended this kind of service before was blown away. and of course, those who have been there for long, they were thrown off their seats too.. :)

life's going to be great and greater..
my life's rather cool now. i am currently working at my aunt's shop and it's at Raffles Place.
so i get to see those working adults and get to feel how it is like to be a working adult! on friday, i went outside of the building and walked around all the bank building etc and i could literally feel and sense the intensity of those adults' mind, the heartbeat of Singapore's finances and the feeling of money money money at that place.
hahaha.
cool and it's really different man.

but after all, everything is great. the people i worked with are not too bad! :)
and they have nice food there..!
hahaha.

and, oh man.. i can't find a correct nice and fine skin for my blog..
so i guess it's gonna stay like this for some time still.

my phone has been a trouble to me cause i can't receive sms and i always got to restart my phone to receive them.
and worse, a few days ago when i switched it off and on, all my photos inside were being deleted.

anyway, through this weekend, i had many thoughts and more insights to my life..
:)
i like weekends, they are like a conclusion to your week. seeing the results of the things you have done or have not done throughout the week. like students receiving their results..

many thoughts has gone through my mind and one of them is about radicalism..
sometimes, i do wonder if i am still as radical as when i first became on fire..
Charleston shared with us during one discipleship class about radicalism.
he shared about how the leaders who are currently in army will sell their weekend guard duty to their friends (which means to pay their friends, probably up to 200dollars, to do their weekend guard duty) just to come for service because they know they need to be back in the house of God, to worship, to listen to God's word, to come into His presence.
i remember when i heard that, i immediately looked at my life and wonder if i would do the same, pay that much just to come for a service..

radicalism is basically crazy for Jesus..
and the leaders are still as radical as they first started.

Pastor Lia said before, sometimes it is good not to have any choice.. Jesus is the ONLY way.. then that way, you will not have something else to choose other than Jesus.

sometimes, i do wonder..
how much are you willing to give up just to come into God's presence, just to come to listen to His word, just to hang out with His people, just to be with Him?
everything? or nothing...

i could still remember the Christmas hang out last year..
i could remember us counting down..

yes, this is one of the mind set that i need to change.
sometimes, i think looking back to the past might be good, rewarding and self reflecting..
but most of the time it is all about comparison with the present, nostalgia and EMO..
hahaha.

sometimes time past so fast that you can't grab hold of it.
sometimes people changes too fast that you can't grab hold of the friendship.
sometimes this is what you think..
but maybe it can be you not chasing after the time that you have.
it can be you not changing fast enough to catch up with your friends.

there's only one month left for us to conclude our 2008.
i don't want it to end just like that.
i will look forward to the future..
grab hold of all my friends and relationships with them..
grab hold of all those memories and run with them into the future..

December is going to be exciting.
2009 is going to be great and awesome.

last night at around 9pm, Andy, Beryl and myself went down to SGH to look for Hui qi..
this story is one of the sweetest miracle that God has placed into our lives and into our cg..
talking to her and her brother, Jun Xiang and looking at her grandma, there's just such warmth..
she told us that we are like angels to her. i think she is just like an angel who could make us conclude our day well.
she thanked us for visiting her.. we should thank her for reminding us of our great and blessed family and health.
i could feel warmth and life in the room.
there is such an urge for me to just tell her about Jesus, call for salvation in that room, and give her the hope that we all have in our life.
she is just such a strong girl.. :)
i pray for faith in her and Jesus' love to touch her..
and of course, miraculous healing in Jesus' name..
i hope that just as how she has inspired us and touched us, we will be able to touch her life and transform her with the power of Jesus.
Amen.

i just saw that the number of church people online on msn is 72.
this is quite powerful..

and our church is really getting BIGGER.

but as Dominic and Jamie always say, as the church gets bigger, we gotta feel that it's smaller.
big yet small..
it's rather amazing,
:)
how relationships in church is really important. especially godly ones, those that will pull you closer to God, closer to Pastors, closer to the leaders and not just closer to themselves.
they make you really inspired and want to grow even more.
and you'll feel really happy listening to them.

City Harvest is really amazing..
for the past 5 days or so, i have been in Expo early in the morning till late at night.
i gotta say that every city harvester is cool and hip with godly character.
it's just amazing and you can instantly tell from a city harvester and a non-chc member.
and hospitality there is cool..

Jieru and Joyce worked with the CHC hospi team in the guest rooms.
Felicia, Carol and myself worked with the SIA air crew in the conference rooms.
it is really great and fun working with them and learning things from them. they're really amazing people and i would say that we have really great fellowship.
:)
and one culture i noticed in chc is that the guys there will always help the sisters out and therefore we will never have to carry anything heavy or do anything that's beyond our physical ability.
hahaha.

it was really a great experience there and i had a great time..

one more significant thing happen during Pastor Ulf Ekman's session at night..
when he called for healing and i prayed for healing of relationships.
God really moved and did miracles in my life..
more than just one, but many many many of them, i would say..
He is really amazing. :)

all the sessions have been really powerful.
and the worship was really awesome too.
the first two nights, i never leave a session without crying my hearts out and stretching my arms high to God.
i was totally blown away by the power of God.
and definitely, i do not believe that this will only happen in city harvest or in such great events.

i want such great presence in my life.
these miracles in my life.
that kind of atmosphere in my life.
the brokenness and hunger in my life.
that anointing over my life.

everything is going to grow..
growth is going to be easy.
and prayer is the answer to all problem.
this is just the beginning to growth.
i can't wait for the future to come cause it is amazing.

and Pastor How's sermon on Sat is also real awesome..
Real man doesn't make decisions that will determine his future;
Real man determines future that creates his vision.
sounds deep? :)
but it is really what we should be doing..

listening to dreams and visions are really inspiring.
visions should be something greater than yourself..
that's right!
and the inspiring part of it.. it gets people excited and it also attracts people to you.
:)
the most amazing thing would be, it makes people want to have a part to play in your vision once they are captivated by it..

and i have been praying from the start of the week for a vision of my future..
i think i have gotten one. and i can't wait to start making decisions that will bring me to my vision.
and i pray that this will not just be my vision, but many others' as well...

i can't stop being blown away by the people around me..

last weekend, Jieru demonstrated true customer service even though she wasn't feeling well.
she served and more than just serving, she went an extra mile..

and now, i just read Jamie's blog and i can't help being blown away by my cool and powerful leader~ HAHA..
reading Jamie's blog made me think about my own life..
actually it has been like this for the past few days.
:)

the closer i get to Jesus, the more i want to be closer to Him.
and the more i was determined that i will never give up this relationship with Jesus in exchange of anything.
yeahhh..
and it indeed made me think about my past. woahhhhhh~
i really don't want to think what i will be like now if i am not saved.
HAHA.
(a horrible, rude ah lian on the streets in the middle of the night?)

yeahh..
i just thank God for all the things that He has given to me and has taken away from me..
and i pray that i will continue to draw closer to Him..

we had CG on thurs and i would say that it is a really GREAT cg. it has been quite some time since our cg has really spent time worshiping and dwelling in the presence of God for REALLY LONG..
and God showed me a whole new dimension of FAITH.. :)
God showed me as i read Genesis, the story of how God spoke to Abraham and what God put forth as a covenant with Abraham.
their relationship is really built on trust and faith in each other.. :)
so powerful.
and this faith that i have brought hope into me.
hahaha.

with miracles happening in our lives everyday, how can someone say that God is not real?!?!?!

we went down to CHC at expo just a moment ago..
Jieru, Joyce, Felicia, Carol and myself..
it was really cool there.
and we saw many Pastors there.
which also includes our very own Pastor How and Pastor Lia.. :)
i think the coolest thing of CHC that i was really in awe of them would be their worship team.
when we were about to leave, Alison was having rehearsal and she was singing. so we stopped just to look and watch. and THERE, we felt a strong presence of God, even though there's nobody (okay, not much people) left in the audi..
they are really powerful luhhhh. :) :) :)

and i just can't wait for Asia Conference!!!

today's monday and i gotta tell you, i have started my day rather powerfully.
:)

woke up at quite a late timing at 11am and i went on to pray and pray and i did what Pastor Kong taught us on Fri.
i used a bible verse, prayed, proclaimed and was ministered by it..
Ephesians 1: 17
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
i came across this when i was trying to pray for a spiritual breakthrough.

then i went on to pray for my household, that my entire household shall be saved, proclaimed that it is covered by the blood of Jesus.
:)
and it was all good.

so i spent about an hour doing all these, and worshiping.. prayed for my week and i believe that my week is going to be great and powerful.

alright! now for the past few days!
it has been a powerpacked week!
firstly, we had services with Nick Vujicic..
we had fun trying to figure out how to pronounce his name. and i had fun serving on hospi with all the other people and working with Ruoen for that event! :)

and not to mention, Regina brought a new friend from VJ, Raina for service!
Melissa also brought all her friends!
and Eunice is a super ev-machine.. she brought about 5 new friends for the event!
coolio..

then after services with Nick Vujicic, we went on to prepare for services with Pastor Kong! :)
it is really great to know that my friends came, and left impacted by the word and touched by the presence of God.
Sheena, Regina and Raina..
VJ shall have a revival soon!!

hospitality for Pastor Kong is extremely exciting and cool as we were all like an army.. the entire preparation work may be long or tiring, but it is all worth while when everything runs smoothly after that!
hospitality to a new level! AMEN!

so many things to put down in words..
i guess throughout the entire 3 days' services, i felt like our church is being brought closer to the City Harvest and its movement.
how we can really go and penetrate the society, maybe not the market place yet, but places like our schools and family.. :)

honestly speaking, i was rather cranky on the second night and i realised the reason was because i never get to hear a proper sermon for the past 2 days and also the altar call! (that's because i was on ministry)
hahaha! it's rather random i know..
but i did get ministered by the worship and the part of the word that i got to hear..

so when i went for the entire service on the last day, i told myself, i gotta absorb every single thing!!
woah.. let me tell you, it is all so powerful man..
especially the altar call. gotta say that it has been quite some time since i worshiped like yesterday. the feeling that Holy Spirit is really moving and stirring on the inside of you. the sense of wanting to cry out worship and praises to Jesus. the knowledge and revelation of the lyrics of the song. the words and works of God in my life. the understanding of eternity and our work on earth that will affect eternity.
it all was so powerful.. :)

and i just can't wait for the next time when we get to hear Pastor Kong in our church again!

came home last night, ate late dinner and then downloaded City Harvest service video and watched it before i went to bed.
and i can still remember i went to bed with this decision made in my mind, my heart and my soul..
which is to equip myself with everything that i can to prepare for a breakthrough that God can bring to my life.
this would mean to build up my spirit man, in prayer, in worship, in the word of God and also by listening to more sermons! :)

AMEN!

i can't let go of the thought of many great things are going and about to happen.
that excitement that screams, my life is purposeful and i am living for a cause.

this is my 400th post since the start up of my blog.. hahaha.
time really do fly and the end of the year is coming..

Heart of God Church is jam-packed with many many many events! i can't believe anyone would not be excited for it!
hahaha.

anyway, it's 5am now and on msn, there's still 20plus church people online..
Pastor is right, we are a church that never sleeps! :)
and i am now talking to Beryl and Deborah online..

we just had a combined service today and i can never put in words and tell you how powerful the entire service was..
every single segment of it..
Praise and worship, Announcements, Offering, Word, Altar call..
God just kept speaking to me and encouraging me constantly.. :)
and the entire auditorium is packed with people and filled with the presence of God.
Pastor How preached about anointing and the word spoke to me..
how anointing comes about when there's Unity and Brokenness.

God is just so real and so amazing. :)

it's 3.12am now and i am all ready to sleep..

just ate my meal which has been like half eaten by my dad!
hahaha..

it has been just such an amazing day..
how God speaks, how God moves and how everything is just so amazing!

firstly, the entire D zone fasted for the whole day until 2.35am
we fasted on 1 Timothy 2:3-5
:)
and the feeling of knowing another 200 people is fasting together with you is just so cool. furthermore, who dares to break fast first before everyone (200 other people!!) ???
and we just broke fast just now with a prayer conference..
it was really good.. :)
just thanked God for the amazing zone that i am in and the amazing CG that i am in..
and also, not to forget, the leaders in our zone who has worked so hard!

then, in the afternoon, many of us in the cg went down to the hospital to visit this girl..
and the entire thing is just so God-arranged.
:)
she is merely this someone's sister, whom that someone is who Jamie is trying to reach out to.. and we went down not knowing her, not knowing her brother, not knowing what everything will be like, not knowing who shall we expect..
but we just went there with faith and the love of God

everything was just so powerfully that now when i looked back at the entire incident, i could just imagine God looking at us and just helping us with every single situation.
and Beryl and i have actually encountered God's power in choosing coffee for the girl's grandma! :)
hahaha..
we just felt that the Holy Spirit led us to buy this coffee that is without sugar for the grandma.. and after talking to the grandma, we found out that she doesn't take sugar as she is afraid of diabetes..
you could just see God's hands moving in the entire situation! AMEN!

it's really cool how we can really have the heart and love for people.. how our heart will just go out to those who Jesus has died for but not saved..

it has been a year and it sure past super fast..
:)

in this whole year, i believe you'll agree with me that many things happened..
good and bad, sweet and bitter..
many lessons learnt..
and i think many people has changed as well..

most have grown up, became more matured..
some has remain the same, but still remaining stagnant would be moving backwards actually.
and some has moved backwards..

felicia and i had a chat last night and yes, we both think that we have grown and changed from last year..
and things really changed.
:)

Chinese new year seemed to be just last week.. all those karaoke sessions and movies.. hahah..
very soon it'll be another year..

what should my new year be like ??
how will i become at the end of next year?

i don't think i can answer them, except just to cling onto God in every situation and i think i'll definitely be fine.. :)

my classmates from VJ came for Sat service last week and i was totally AMAZED at how God moves and bring people into His house..
ask me and i will tell you a miracle story!
although i think people around me has already heard me exclaiming it.. :P

oh! and how can i forget that next year will be my A Level year!
arhhhhh~
i must say that i am not very prepared for it yet!

i admit i missed out some parts that i definitely must put them back in! :)

D1 had a prayer meeting ytd and we prayed and we prayed and we prayed.
i realised that the people around are actually not exactly the same people that we had prayer meetings in the past..
but i must say that those who were around are really prayer warriors..
i will never forget this.. we walked around the entire MPR and prayed.. Jamie still praying despite losing her voice.. she was praying for a spiritual atmosphere of 200!
and as i walked around the room, i walked to the 4 corners of the room and told God that I want the room to be filled with His prayers and praises.. and sometimes when i felt like i need a rest, i turn to look at Jamie, praying really hard with her losing voice, i told myself that if Jamie can pray on with her voice, why can't i? :)
after a while, i began to feel that there is this prayer atmosphere in the entire room..
and the room no longer seem bigger than all of us anymore!
AMEN!

never sell away your birthright for the things of the world.
how true many people can do that so easily..

it has really been amazing nights spent hanging around simply amazing people.
and hanging around them just makes you see how small your problems are, how small your capacity is and how small your world used to be..

(and the supper is just ONE of the great hang outs..)

and i also can't stop screaming how great and thankful i am for my Pastors, my leaders, my church, my CG, my friends and my family..
i guess this is just being contended with what i have..
and actually this is not because what i have is like what i need to make do with, but in fact, they are the best that i can have! :D

but definitely, i am not satisfied with my life..

and i came across this verse which i find it really powerful..

last night was quite a crazy night.
was at TCC at Orchard with whole loads of exciting people..
there's Charleston, Garrett, Jamie, Wendy, Joanne, Maryse, Zhuo Xinyi, Jia Yang, Gabriel, Fu Rong, Jeremy Quek, Felicia Goh..
overnight-ed there and i had a great time fellowship-ing and followship-ing..

hmmmm, but now i am rather stuck and have nothing to type alr.

Jay Chou's song from his new album has been playing for the past 30 mins or so when I was doing my OP..
hahaha..
his songs are getting nicer man.. :)

and I would say that I had a great day today.
Pastor preached a great message and it was really like 'wow' for me!
never had i seen things this way.
that we are actually the bank of God and God is only the depositor.
so cool huh!

and for those of you who have missed it, thats it man! you guys really have just MISSED it!
hahaha.

and i guess God's really really amazing.
the things that He engineered in our lives, they are just so timely..

and there was such a prompting in my heart to look on to the bigger things, to cling onto Him and to move on..

Pastors are flying overseas tmr..
i am very sure i will definitely miss them..
and all those others who are flying off together with Pastors..

and I was reminded of our chat on msn last night..

which made me rather determined to study hard.. HAHA.

though we can be promoted, i guess there's still a lot of hard work to be done.

okay, I am going to love every single subject that I have! :)

plus, i did made an improvement from my mid years!

today is Pastor Ma's cremation at Mandai later on..

attending her wake on the first night, God spoke to me and pointed me to Pastor Ma's faithfulness towards Him..

and I am truly amazed at how she can raise 8 children up singlehandedly.

women are really amazing.

and the love of a mother is even more amazing.

i'm currently at Felicia's house and she climbed back to her bed after settling stuff and ate her breakfast.

and now she has dozed off.

hahaha.

i am glad i have powerful people in my life that i can 'wow' and be amazed by them.. :)

people with extreme capacity and wisdom.

people with extreme heart and love for people.

people with extreme faith.

indeed i believe that God's doing something in our midst.. (:

and behind each life, there's always a story of how He came in and saved us from all our nonsense.
hahaha.

it really feels good to have a renewed love for Him and to look towards Him no matter what happen because i know that He has a plan..
so even though sometimes decisions are difficult to make, but once we made it, we should stick to it for the rest of our lives..

it is especially true for the one we made at the foot of the cross, our salvation..
and then it will be those that we make to change our character flaws, those that will help us be closer to God and be more like Christ..

and of course, there will be pre-made decisions in our lives that will make us strong in times of trials and tribulations..

i have learnt to make decisions that will change my life..

school is urber boring right now... :/

my lessons wont start until 1.20pm. and it's rather amazing that i am in school today. :)

results for promos are almost all out.. HAHA..
it was an improvement i guess, but overall is still unsure.. :/

but still, some subjects i have an improvement of 2 grades, U to E.
so j2 mid years will be E to C.

it has been so great to be in the presence of God, being able to hear Him and do His work..
Prayer meeting today was really awesome..
Wendy asked us to ask God, what does God want us to do for Him today..
a really amazing question..

very quickly, another year is going to pass by..
are we gonna end a year saying that we have really LIVED it..?
are we gonna end a year saying that it has been a year that we have grown CLOSER to God?
or is it gonna be just ANOTHER year..
have we really used our days wisely in making a difference and doing God's work?
are we one step closer to our destiny..?

i will always remember Jamie telling us at the beginning of the year that this is the year that either we MAKE IT or we'll BREAK IT..
a really significant year..
and i really agree with it..

now, there's 3 more months before the year end..
there's full of events that will allow our spirit, our character, our love to grow..
but it is YOUR choice whether to grab hold of all these opportunities and grow to be one step closer to God and closer to your destiny..
or to let go of it all together and end your year with a tinge of regret..

today was a really good day.. (:

alright. this sounds rather bad..
but i did studied my ECONS with quite a bit of understanding.. (:

met Yo in town and studied with her in starbucks.

it is cold in there, but nonetheless rather good.
then andy came to join us and we sat there for a while more before we head off for dinner.
we ate fried rice, fried hong kong noodles and LA LA! (:

loved hanging out with them..

people who are so real and people whom you know everyone there enjoys each other's presence. (:

today is sunday night and i've just gotten home not long ago..

Service yesterday and today was real good.
and Pastor's message today was really powerful!
just like what Jamie said, I could feel it too - a sense of purity and holiness at the end of service..
genuine praise and worship from our hearts.
shouting to God, "Holy.. Holy.."

Pastor talked to us about virginity and sex..
Some might be saying, awwwwww, now, thinking that Pastors should not talk about these.
but let me tell you, my Pastor is cool and he is not talking about something that is wrong, so why not?
he loves us, so he is educating us.. (:
cool uhh?
yupp.

Virginity is the one thing you can give one time to one person in one lifetime.

and we each got a card that says that.. (:
ask me and i will show you the card!

studies have soon became this burden that grew heavier in my heart as my promos drew nearer..
(and that explains the breakout on my face.. :/ ... )
but nevertheless, God never failed to speak to me..
i am just utterly amazed by Him and His character and His words..

have been on this book, He Chose the Nails by Max Lucado
and it has been really good as the book goes on and on..
i am now halfway through it and it never failed to amaze me to know more about God..

it has this part about Pride and Shame...

- Pride and shame. You'd never know they are sisters. They appear so different. Pride puffs out her chest. Shame hangs her head. Pride boasts. Shame hides. Pride seeks to be seen. Shame seeks to be avoided.
But don't be fooled, the emotions have the same parentage. And the emotions have the same impact. They keep you from your Father.

If pride is what goes before a fall, then shame is what keeps you from getting up after one. -

it was another boost of encouragement and love from God and the people around me..
I know that everything is in His hands and everything just falls so nicely in place for a revelation for me.. (:
then Jamie, Cherie and I went down to Bugis for CozyCot event.. it was really cool and Nicole is really super successful !
walked around.. then head back to church for prayer meeting!

and there's a bunch of girls who are real cool!!
Let me tell you.. Joy makes really nice muffins and cakes! (: **Yummy**
and Deborah.. Joy told me that she is actually not that quiet.. So i spoke with her and she really could talk a lot more! (: and she's real nice and sweet~~

holidays just started and i can't help but look forward to the next holiday!

this holiday is going to be one of chionging school work!
and time to put on weight from all the snacking!

yesterday had service with Pastor Tan Ye Peng.
a really great service that gave us many insights! (:
but almost all the woman has the same reaction towards the end...
'Where's the part about us??'
Hahaha.
When Pastor Tan says that it's the last verse, we were still looking and waiting for him to come and talk about the role of woman.. (:
hahaha.
but nonetheless, this is really a great service.
Pastor Tan revealed to us the role of a man and their potential which is in them when God first created them..

it's really an awesome service! (:

after service, left early for grandma's birthday at Clarke Quay..
it was quite okay..
chatted with my brother and played with my younger cousins.
hahaha.
i've got a rather big family..
we occupied 3 long tables there and my brother said he counted 38 seats..
and we have 4 generations together..! (:
real cool man..
had an early night last night..

Saturday service was also a really powerpacked one..
Pastor Lia preached about the revelation of sin and although i've heard it before in zone f, this is a total new revelation.

just so many thoughts after listening to it..

and whoever who has missed out on any of the two services, you must go get the sermon cd man!!

i told myself that i must blog today. and so here i am..
hahaha.

yesterday night i fell asleep with my laptop on and i thought i was just supposed to rest.
and so this morning i got up with a shock to see my laptop on, msn with conver that i didnt reply or respond..
it is like Oh my gosh!

then i left for school and knew that i will be late, so the jia li hai me went to take 155..
after about 1 hr of bus ride, i see St Pat, but no VJ.. so i alighted and changed to another bus!
and i reached sch only at like 8 plus.. HAHA..
think that was really quite dumb..

then in sch.. gave presents to teachers, watched performance then ended..

school's just normal i would say..
hahaha.

took bus back to bishan and met Vanessa Tan halfway.. went back to sec sch tgt and met almost half of our class.
looked for Mr Tan, Mrs Lee, Mrs Gan...
and Miss Tay's getting married.. WOAH man..

we had class lunch after that at crystal jade..
saw Ongah, Darryl, Jian Fan, Eeshen etc at j8 as well. hahaha.
guess it was great lunch. (:
really cool to see all my sec sch friends and i realised that i am more comfortable with them than the jc friends now.. just a different feeling luhh. (:

had cg in church just now and everything was really good.. (:
and indeed, God is a good God..
He spoke to me Himself and through Jamie. and He showed me abt my friend as well.. haha.

and we are now in the season of GROWTH...

i realised that it was one week ago since i last posted and last week is a really cool and powerful week.. (:

entire week being packed with worship prac, orchestra prac, run through for Pastor's birthday celebration..
it was indeed a fulfilling week.
and last but not least, i thought about something then decided that i should just close my eyes and click "send". HAHA. there it goes..
it should be good... hopefully..

Pastor Lia preached a great sermon on Sat's Zone F service and i thought it really spoke to me as well.
having the revelation of sin.. it is how we can always be thankful and loving God as we were indeed bought by a price.
salvation is free for us but it is definitely being paid for with a great price..

and Elevate was on for zone F service..
i thought it was quite good. a whole new experience which really blew me away too..
where His presence was so strong and conviction just came..
and today i was just thinking about this whole thing that Pastor Lia preached about and reading Psalms 51..
i prayed.. and believed that something will be different.
(:

Pastor How preached a powerful sermon for main services as well.
my really powerful awesome Pastor who will never be stopped by his injuries or when he had side effects from his medications.. (:
taking leadership over our will... why not... what if...
powerful powerful words.. (: (: (:
and God gave me a dream for my future.. and it just so clicked with whatever i see myself as months ago..
it shall come to pass. (:

then we had Pastor How's birthday celebration last night..
it was a really awsome celebration with funny funny people and dances.. then the touching, sweet parts..
and there we worshipped with God of My Forever..
~ my greatest honour will always be to serve my Lord and King ~

everything was really great..

it has been a long day today.

hospitality.. really had a great time working with these people. i'd say i really enjoy myself and i hope that they too enjoyed themselves and more than that, can learn something! :D

i guess today was really great.. (:
had a great sermon by Pastor How even though he wasn't feeling well..
and a great worship by Pastor Lia and 41st Day where many of the leaders and Pastor did not sleep much too.
real great worship. and God spoke to me..
i'd say only God knows me from the inside out.. (:

and now it's almost time for me to hit the bed..

and Pastor How is really amazing and he never fails to inspire..
despite his injured ankle, he still went on to the pulpit to preach the message.

i've decide to blog but have no idea what to blog about..
hahaha.

today was really quite a tiring day..
but i feel good being able to wake up early..
at 5am. (:
woke up, bathe.. left house at 5.40am.
reached bus stop at 5.50am.
and i was surprised!
the first bus is still not there yet! hahaha.
i never knew man..

took a bus down to church.
went to hang out in church and helped out a little.
then rushed to school with Nadine in a cab..

guess what?
my sch's head of PE dept went for Power House! (:
and Nadine ushered him in..
so tempted to ask him to fetch us to school man !!!
hahaha..

reached school on time and there is school and lessons..
had orchestra after school and then came home with Jia Yan and Koon Yew..
Dinner and went grocery shopping.
then now i am practicing my song.. (:

it is really quite difficult to concentrate on practising and also blogging..
if you can do it, you are really powerful!

okay..
i'm still halfway through my movie, Remember the Titans.
I am going to finish them tongiht. i promise..

anyway, just gotta tell you all about school today!
i think this is the first time school's so interesting and joyous for me man!
hahaha.
went to school late with Nadine.
we dropped 2 stops earlier and walked to school, trying to avoid Mr Goh..
and when we reached the bend of the school, we met a group of people.
and i'm not gonna say what happened later..
but we just manage to get pass and our names are not being booked down, neither were we nagged by Mr Goh even though he was still at the gate.

then i pon PE and we went to this 3rd level place, open space with loadddds of wind and studied there.
er ren shi jie.. (:
hahaha.
yeah. we had a great time studying and it was productive.
i studied for 2 hours straight.. (:
then we took turns to go for lecture and i bought food up there to eat..
and then went for last lesson and we ended, and came to church together.
hahaha!
sounds normal, but think this is the most joyous day of my JC till now.
slack but productive day.
and the best is, there's a company! :D

today was sucha great day.. (:
why?
because God has just filled my heart and i have lifted everything up in prayers to Him.
i took the opportunity that my dad went to the bathroom to pray and worship. indeed it was short but effective. could feel God's presence and knew that He was close to me..

i just knew that He is always faithful to me, in hearing ALL my prayers..
little prayers of that i will not miss my bus to school or church, that i will be able to have favour with my teachers etc etc.. favour with men..
i just feel that i am blessed by God.

but this is just a small bit of how God moves in my life..

i am so so so excited for FOP this Friday!
because i am so so so happy for Pastor How! :D
and also Charleston who's gonna lead prayer.. (:
gotta pray for them!!

and for ushering in Indoor Stadium as my first experience in Usher. (:

Nadine and myself were just saying today that "ushering in the Indoor Stadium" could be put into our portfolio at the end of J2 cause we both didnt have any achievements in school.. LOL! :D

Noni said that my posts are all so serious..
so let me just post nonsense things and random things today..
i woke up at 6.30am today and went to church. reached the bus stop but missed my bus. but God answered my prayer and another bus came within 5 mins! and this super fast 28 brought me to church in less than 20 mins!
AMEN!

so i was the first few to reach church at like 7.40am.. EARLY BEE~

7. and i am now hearing some noises coming out from a cupboard 50cm away from me!!! i suspect there's some crawling thing inside making the sound. and i pray that it is not a lizard!

and today was really a great day!
Econs tutor cancelled last 2 periods, so i ended early at like 1245..
went down to church and studied.
then chatted with Noni, Cheryl Chan, Genghis.. they are funny people man..
hahaha.

yupp!
then had my own prayer and QT before follow up with Clara then Jorine!
i think i enjoyed these follow up the most! (:
not that the things shared are easier to understand or pass down, not that the environment was good and the air was cold, not that we sat on comfortable couches, not that we came all ready..
but because God was there..
as i was giving it, i felt ministered to myself as well.
all these long ago things that i've learnt, as they are being renewed, i carried new revelations.
and as i shared with inspiration from the Holy Spirit, there came a new understanding that i never had before.
and lastly we ended with a short worship where God was there and it allowed us with time to experience Him and apply what was being shared!
such an awesome experience!

i know it is super late already.. hahaha . 1.37am and there's school tmr.
but i just so feel like blogging now. (:

just read this blog that never failed to inspire me.
the owner of the blog is not a spectacular person, but just spiritual and simple. (:

and yeah.. last week was a whole week of many many many things.
many things happened and through all these things, there was only one outcome, me drawing closer to God and going deeper with Him.
it made me run back to Him all over again, re-discovering my relationship with Him and solely putting my trust on Him. (:
and He has never failed to show me my way.. given me visions, new and old.. encouraged me, being faithful to me.
what surprised me the most was the strength that i drew from the inside of me. it all made me realise how much i need to depend on Him, how much i wanted more and more of Him, how i realise myself in Him and found the true meaning of everything that i am doing..
it was just so amazing..

i think humans tend to get carried away after some time doing the things that we're doing, absorbed in the process and the results, keeping our eyes on the product and then at the end of the day, we stop and wondered what are we doing what we are doing for. hahaha. sounds complicated but familiar? or worse, sometimes we just bury ourselves with all these work that we didn't even have the time to stop and think.

that is why it is always important to return to our Father, who is the reason that we do everything.
and i guess the song, You Are Why says it all..

someone who was an inspiration to me, a cool, young, vibrant youth.. that sparkle in the eye..
now it's so different, couldn't see that 'thing' in that person anymore. that life that exists from the inside out..
woahhhhhhhh. really not very sure what to say. but just felt mixed up.. how someone who has been there, with Him could turn away.. and yet also stirred up something greater in me..
how i could see that person back and on-fire..
how i could imagine seeing the person in the midst of us again..
and also how strong and close our walk with God has to be..

today is really a great and fruitful day.. (:

woke up quite late today cause slept only at 4am ytd night, prayed and also waited for my mac to be charged. was a really long night and by the time i really wanna sleep, kinda cant sleep. hahaha.

anyway, service today was really awesome. could really feel Pastor's heart when he was sharing and preaching. and it really spoke to me. and God too.. (:

spirituality is about having the mind of Christ, and only spiritual things can judge the spiritual. Romans 8:5-8. amazing verses. having a spiritual mind versus a carnal mind.. yeah yeah.

think the things we see, hear and our thoughts are really important. not being fleshly and carnal.. and the most powerful part was when Pastor shared about how satan tried to tempt Jesus after Jesus has fasted for 40 days and 40 nights. the entire sermon was really an awesome revelation to me and really made me think and reflect upon my own life. (: but i won't reveal too much about it.. you should come to hear the sermon yourself!!! (:

hahaha. think my mid-yr is some wake up call and start-up for my study engine.. hahaha.

and Dominic shared during our discipleship class today. was also very powerful and it really impacted me. as Dominic spoke about Faithfulness and doing the mundane work, i was just reflecting upon the past when i was serving and also as i took my o levels. i realised that the great results that we got at the end of everything will only last us for a few days or even a week. that happiness and job satisfaction that we have. but what last long and will go with us is the process, the mundane work that we do in order for us to get the results. (: this mundane work will produce faithfulness and in turn build up our character. the results we get at the end of the day will not follow us for the rest of our life or even be brought up to heaven, but the character that is being built through this mundane work will follow us for the REST OF OUR LIFE. building this ETERNITY thing in us.. (: Dominic's really powerful. :D

after discipleship class, went to join the entire cg and was discussing about Monday outing with Jamie and other leaders..

EVERYONE.. Monday is YOUTH DAY! a day made for all of us to enjoy.. (: hahaha. yeah yeah.. so we've got an outing!!

Pastor shared about many stories of families who got saved because of one person in the family.

seeing the revivals for many schools, it all started with just ONE as well.

when ONE caught the fire in their heart, carrying the love of Christ and having the burden of the unsaved to reach out to the world, a REVIVAL broke out.

This is the case for Northbrooks, New town, Clementi Town, Pasir Ris sec and many more.. (: (: (:

I believe this will be so for all the other schools and family as well!! :D

Can't wait for my family to be saved.. and I really can see that our whole family will be praying together. awesome little sight that i have envisioned. :D yeah yeah.

or at least the first few times..
little would i know that a ordinary girl last year would end up becoming a church's staff, serving in hospitality, knowing Pastors and leaders much better, breaking through in my own life and really just growing closer to God...
1 year has passed and when i look back, i will say 1 year ago i was good, but 1 year later, i am at a better position!!
